This one really put me into dire straits. You say it a passionate song and it’s Italian, so it should be great, but I don’t follow Italian at all. Spanish is more familiar now by the intonation and a few words from popular songs, but not Italian. So I tried Google translator but to no great effect and then this forum got me an exact translation… and by god, what a beautiful song. It seems that a bit of it is in Napolitan as well. It’s about how a sea glitters and the wind is strong and a man holds a girl in his arms and they are both sad.
